Automakers must send NHTSA copies of the communications they send to dealers, owners and others about defects, failures or malfunctions, whether they are safety-related or not. The best known of these are technical service bulletins (TSBs): notes to dealers that describe a known issue and how to repair it. Each record includes the TSB number, the NHTSA ID, the bulletin date, the make, model and year it applies to, the affected component, and a summary of the problem and the fix. This Kapa index covers bulletins received by NHTSA from 1995 to 2026, grouped by model year, make, model and component, and mirrored for agent search. All data belongs to NHTSA.
