About this index
The Aviation Safety Reporting System is NASA’s confidential incident reporting program. Each report describes what happened, contributing factors and the reporter’s assessment, in the reporter’s own words. This Kapa index redistributes a time-bounded DBOL slice for agent search. Reporting to ASRS remains confidential; what we index is the published, de-identified database content.

Reports are voluntary and de-identified; NASA/ASRS does not verify details. Counts are not prevalence. Do not phrase agent answers as “according to NASA.” Not for enforcement or punitive use. About 18,500 reports; not a complete ASRS archive.
